Yelp Narrows Net Loss By Nearly Half As Third-Quarter Revenues Climb 63% To $36.4M

Yelp narrowed its net loss to $2 million for the third quarter after pulling in $36.4 million in net revenue. The company said total reviews went up by 49 percent to 33 million, while the number of local business accounts grew by 82 percent to 35,500. The company changed its guidance for the year, projecting net revenue of $40 million to $40.5 million, with adjusted EBITDA (or earnings before interest, taxes, debt and amortization) of $1.25 million to $1.5 million.
